In 2023, OFI researchers Joel Finnis, Lissandra Cavalli and Barb Neis organized two roundtable workshop s on the impacts of weather on marine aquaculture in Atlantic Canada. The workshop attracted range of aquaculture stakeholders including operators, managers, buyers and industry association representatives as well as safety professionals and marine meteorologists. The purposes of the roundtables was to explore the impact of weather on aquaculture operations, infrastructure and personnel. The two reports provide a summary of the discussions at the two roundtables and a useful set of resources available in Atlantic Canada.
