The Placentia Bay Ocean Debris Survey (PODS) is saying goodbye to two of its members today. We congratulate France Liboiron on her new position with Grieg NL, and Alexandra Hayward on her acceptance into the Environmental Law program. France is a founding member of PODS who was integral in the development of the project through extensive research and the development of tools and protocols suitable to the Newfoundland environment. Alex was our first Canada Summer Jobs student and helped us to adapt and respond to all of the challenges that we faced in our very first four months of field work.
Thank you France and Alex and best of luck – you will be sorely missed!
