Jose Augusto Costa is a second year Master student in the Department of Political Science at Memorial University. He holds a Bachelor degree in Social Communications at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and a Master of Arts in International Relations at the University of Nottingham, UK. His research interests include historical institutionalism, global political economy and environmental political economy. Current research focuses on the role of institutions in the salmon aquaculture industry in Chile. He is a Research Assistant with Dr. Sarah Martin.
