Governance of coastal and marine areas is complex and often fragmented, in part due to jurisdictional boundaries that intersect at land-sea interfaces. A new paper by Dalhousie University researchers, published in a special issue of Planning Practice and Research, explores questions about community-level engagement in Marine Spatial Planning and outlines potential connections between terrestrial and marine planning processes. A blog post about the special issue of the journal and the new paper can be accessed here: Blog post and Published paper.
