The Canada Country Profile of Aquaculture Occupational Safety and Health is a part of a global initiative supported by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). In this project researchers have conducted an extensive literature review and undertaken a survey of farm operators, employees and small scale fish harvesters in aquaculture regions to document OHS hazards, accidents and prevention priorities in the current industry.
